According to Mobile Industry, Gameloft, mobile gaming developer, has signed a deal with Airtel to provide its games to the Indian public. Airtel, India’s largest mobile phone provider, has over 30 million subscribers and they can now offer Gameloft’s Desperate Housewives, Might and Magic and Lost to those users. This makes Gameloft an even more attractive investment.
The French-owned Gameloft is one of the largest providers of mobile games, and making this deal just makes them that much bigger. Recently the company announced that their operating income had increased from 2.3 million euros to 2.5 million and that they were focused on further growth. With this move, we should continue seeing advancement for Gameloft (OTC:GLOFF.PK) throughout the year.
